On Tuesday afternoon I came back from 2 weeks spent in Czechia with my family and my baby dog. He is not a puppy anymore. My dog Max is 8y old to be accurate, but he will always be my baby. Last few months I have been really down and realised how much is mental health important. And I could not recharge my body and mind any better way then spending it with my family, eating, drinking, playing games and enjoying company of my dog. One Saturday out of those two weeks I took a bus to Prague to meet one of my friends. I spend some time before the visit googling around a place we could hang out. It was -15C back then so trust me all you wanna do is be in a cosy place with hot drink. And I found Cafefin. Cute cafe full of healthy food and amazing coffee.
nám. J. z Poděbrad 1407/4, 120 00 Praha 2-Vinohrady, Czechia
It is only 1 min walk from Metro line A – station Jiřího z Poděbrad
When we arrived, around 6ish, that place was manic. There was not a single table to sit and a queue was crazy. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations. So we had a short walk around the streets and had a delicious burger first. Here, if you wondered http://www.mozaikaburger.cz/en/ I have posted couple of pictures in my Instagram account and Insta stories. When we finished burgers and homemade fries, I checked Google popular times. I was not giving up and we returned to Cafefin, an hour before closing. Luckily we got a table. And I can tell you that the waiting was so worth it. FIY raspberry cake they had displayed in the first time we went there was all gone!
Me and my friends always try to order different things so we can have a bite and try the most flavours. And so my girl friend ordered cappuccino I believe and I had matcha latte. Just so you know, both were the best coffees I had in them 2 weeks in Czechia. I ordered a toast with avocado, orange, pomegranate, goat cheese and a little bit of chilly. She had one divided in half. Both halfs had peanut butter as a base. One half covered in finely sliced apple. Second half with banana, chocolate and pistachios. All freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. They also have a selection of baguettes, salads, smoothie bowls. What ever you like. Brunch heaven. And as a desert we tried poppy seed cheesecake which was as light as clouds. Please, excuse the pictures. I am terrible in taking pictures in bad light condition! xx
