I cannot even describe how much time I have dedicated to photography lately. Books I have read, workshops attended, skillshare videos watched… And I think in last few weeks I have realised how much I actually love this hobby of mine. With a new diary I bought end of May (review coming soon) I have really focused on myself and a little challenges I gave myself to improve and grow. One of them was definitely to move on with my camera skills.
Started with the worst smartphone camera photography and filters on filters on filters and now we’re here. Worked in 3 jobs to finally afford a nice camera (after 20 years of dreaming about it), invested into a prime lens, purchased the “easy” version of Lightroom CC and hoping my old laptop is gonna cope with it, asking all my friends to pose for me and then wishing for it to turn out “okay”. It has been just over 2 years now of developing and practising and investing more and more money, like I could not find a cheaper hobby…
So here I am and I would love to share with you just a few of my photography gems taken in past week. FIY I have a passion for photographing flowers and anything nature related (apart from spiders really) and the shots below were my first attends of capturing people, portraits and some low light. I would love to hear your thoughts on those. Also saying a massive thank you for my beautiful friends who agreed to model for me.
