I have been rather quiet on my blog lately. Why? I have decided to give all my time and energy to photography. This started very early in my childhood, but I haven’t actually put my hands on a camera until about two years ago and I could not be any happier for it. This hobby has grown into a passion that I would never have even dreamt about. Even though I might just have a basic camera, I am getting as much use out of it as I can. During the past month or so, I have been developing my own style and asking everyone I know to model for me, because portrait photography is relatively new for me and I would love to nail this.
One of the things I have been always struggling with is the style! I do love to play around and try new things and I do not seem to settle for one camera setting or a specific filter. I know I do prefer moody photographs. That’s it. So I am asking you, yes YOU, a very important person, for your opinion. Some photographs in this post are edited to compliment their nature and original look. On some of them, I have used a Lightroom preset from the website that I have linked below. I am more than happy to actually invest in one preset from some amazing and talented photographers such as Sean Dalton, whom I discovered via Skillshare (which I have been loving btw) or Sorella Amore. But first, I need to discover what it is I can call my “signature photography style”
I am so happy to share these photos with you and there is nothing I want to hear more than your thoughts and feedback. Also a big thank you to Amber, my beautiful friend and housemate, who did an amazing job modelling for me, don’t you think?!
You can check one my first ever photography attempts here, where I will take you through the beauty of my hometown.
